Wonderful autumn dress in the most vibrant plaid fabric in the perfect seasonal palette - vivid orange, red, yellow and green. Bodice has padded shoulders and short sleeves and a fun semi-cape design to the front shoulders. Slim peter pan collar to neck and small white contrast waffle cotton bib to upper chest. Four small pearly cone buttons to fasten the chest. Waist is fitted and has a matching cinch belt with buckle. Generous midi length a-lined skirt, sewn in biased panels with big angled hip patch pockets. Side metal zipper to fasten. No labels but looks commercially made. Dating has me slightly stumped - definitely pre-60s, the silhouette and shoulder padding screams 40s, but buttons and belt look a bit more modern. I'm hazarding early to mid 50s.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Slight discolouration under top button, barely shows. Backing on belt is a bit creased with some light wear. I think the zip may have been replaced, looks slightly more modern, but still vintage metal zip.
