This is such a treat! Mary Quant's Ginger Group corduroy spring/summer jacket in a rich purple-red wine coloured corduroy. Fab waist length design with a wide waistband fastened to the front with a chunky button. Loose fitting bomber style cut with pleating in the waistband to allow for a relaxed bust. Big patch pockets on the chest and a loose fitting long dolman sleeve with strap and button detail on the cuffs. Collared v-neck. Lined in a light acetate. Front nylon zip to fasten. One of those era-transgressing pieces, iconically 60s in style, but wears so well with 50s and 40s high waisted trousers too. The original retro!
